Privacy notice
This is a showcase site: it sells nothing online, profiles nobody and collects only the data you send us yourself. Below, in plain language, is who handles the data, which data, why and for how long.
Who handles your data
The data controller is Dolphin Marine di Mike Pasca, based at Zona Industriale Asse Spina, 13, 73020 Melpignano (LE), Italy. You can write at any time to info@dolphinmarine.it or call +39 347 27 156 60.
What we collect
Data you give us. If you fill in the contact form or write to us by email or WhatsApp: name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
Technical data. Like any website, the server records the IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and the type of browser. This serves security and diagnostics and is kept for a limited period.
Why we process it
To answer you and to manage the relationship that starts from your enquiry: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations, if the enquiry turns into a job or a supply.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into a job are kept for at most 24 months, then deleted. Documents relating to work carried out follow the statutory terms, generally ten years.
Who we share it with
Nobody, for commercial purposes. Access is limited to what their task requires: the provider that hosts the site and the email, and the professionals who look after our accounts and filings. We do not sell or pass on addresses to third parties.
Where it is kept
Data is stored on servers within the European Union. Should a provider process it outside the European Economic Area, this happens on the basis of the safeguards set out in the Regulation (standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, object, and receive it in a readable format. An email to info@dolphinmarine.it is enough: we reply within one month.
If you believe something is wrong, you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.
